Our branch campus in Cuenca held a ceremony in the university coliseum for the inauguration of the new members of the students’ union or association (FEUPS for its acronym in Spanish). The ceremony was attended by university officials, students and professors. 

UPS president Juan Cardenas stressed the work carried out by the outgoing members led by Carlos Perez, president, in academic, scientific, research, social and sports activities which have benefited students at the university and enabled community engagement projects.

Carlos Perez, outgoing president, presented a report of all the activities carried out during the 2019 – 2021 period, but stressed the work done to help less privileged people in society. He thanked university officials for all their support in order to carry out the planned activities. 

Fernando Moscoso, vice president of our branch campus in Cuenca, presented the new FEUPS president, Sebastian Miño Yacila who said is committed to carrying out all the activities in his plan and working together with students and officials.
