New methodology awakens student's entrepreneurial spirit

The business administration and accounting and auditing undergraduate programs in the university's branch campus in Cuenca suggested a new methodological structure for learning called:"Proyectos integradores" or integrative projects, which is being applied during this semester, march- august 207.
The new method is currently being used with first year students. The idea is to work with a business idea where there is a significant contribution from all the subjects that students are taking this semester. The aim is to awaken students' entrepreneurial spirit so that in the future they don't have to look for jobs, but they can create them.
This projects changes the current evaluation structure which is done through quizzes, exams and other forms; here the student must backup their business idea by presenting strengths and weaknesses. Therefore, no exams are taken.
The business ideas will be presented from the 17th to the 21st of July. The entire university community is invited to learn more about these projects.
