Our branch campus in Cuenca held a special event to welcome new students to the university. The first part of the event was in the university theater and was attended by university officials, the students union (FEUPS), representatives from salesian groups and students. 

Juan Cardenas, UPS president, welcomed the new students and invited them to live their university experience to the fullest and with great responsibility in order to reach their goals.  

 
Representatives of the salesian groups invited students to join one of the groups; there are 32 salesian groups in different areas such as culture, academia and sports. The students union president, Sebastian Miño, also welcomed new students and invited them to take part in all the university events.
