The community engagement department in our branch campus in Guayaquil held the ”2022 Business Tour” which brought together representatives from 22 public and private companies who attended the university to learn more about the work carried out in its laboratories, its technological equipment and projects students are working on. The aim was to strengthen the relationship between academia and companies and create cooperation.

 

Linda Campoverde, representative of “Hotel Castell”, stressed the university’s work with society, its technological projects and its human capital. “We are thrilled not only with the university’s technological equipment, but with its human capital and their Salesian enthusiasm”, she stated. 

 

Wendy Luna, director of the community engagement department in our branch campus in Guayaquil, stated that the Business Tour seeks to bring companies and student together, as well as encourage institutional agreements to strengthen ties between academia and the private and public sector. 

 

The undergraduate programs that took part in this edition were: computing, telecommunications, electricity, electronics and automation, industrial and mechatronics engineering.
