The univesrsity's Abya Yala Publishing House presented the book "Implicaciones antropológicas y filosóficas de la tecnociencia", written by Kléber Zuna, Conrado Giraldo, Cristian Barreto, Robert Bolaños and Pedro Colangelo.

UPS president, Juan Cardenas, stated that the content of the book is not only a contribution to anthropology, philosophy and ethics, but also to techno science. He invited people to read and enjoy the content of the book."

Conrado Giraldo Zuluaga, coordinator of the doctorate program at Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana de Medellín (Colombia), made a comment on the book and stresssed that it is an interesting contribution from the university on ethics and instructing readers on the good use of technological advances.

Another comment was made by Jesus David Girado Sierra, professor at Universidad de La Sabana en Bogotá (Colombia), who said the book make a anthropological, philosophical and ethical relection on technology. 

Luis Alvarez, general editor of UPS, highlighted the importance of this book and of the Abya Yala publishing house, which is one of the biggest producers of social sciences books in Latin America, with about 2,000 books.
