Our branch campus in Cuenca held the final of the 2023 “Santa Cecilia” singing competition. There were eleven participants who represented different undergraduate programs. 

Josué Rodriguez, student majoring in psychology, sang “Amado de mi alma” and won first place; Joselyn Criollo, student majoring in law, sang “Bandito” and won second place; Gabriela Marin, student majoring in architecture, sang “El cigarillo” and won third place. 

Fernando Moscoso, vice president of our branch campus in Cuenca, stressed the importance of this competition, which has taken place in the university since 1994. 

The university seeks to strengthen culture and art among its students by organizing events like these that also enable students to show their skills.
