Universidad de Ferrara representative visited UPS

On September 30th Dr. Anita Gramigna from the Dipartimento di Studi Umanistici at Universidad de Ferrara, María Sol Villagómez, Director of Education, and Daniel Llanos, pedagogy professor and researcher at UPS visited the Intercultural Bilingual School in Macas and the Cotopaxi Indigenous Movement in Latacunga which is currently led by Julio César Pilalumbo, who is also a graduate from UPS’s Cotopaxi Academic Project.

Representatives from both universities also visited Zumbagua and the Quilota volcano.

During her visit, Dr. Gramigna led a discussion panel with UPS professors who teach Intercultural Bilingual Education and Pedagogy in Quito to learn as well as share experiences on education and interculturality in our country.
