More than 18 representatives from Ecuadorian Universities got together for the "Ecuadorian Network of Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications and like-minded majors"-RECIETA-  meeting.

The aim of the meeting was to discuss topics that will improve the quality of higher education.  They talked about an agreement with RECIETA, redesigning the curriculum so as to allow student mobility, and the second congress and competition of telecommunications (CISET) which will be held in ESPOL.

During the meeting, the members of the network decided to accept Universidad de Cuenca as a new member.

Finally, the electronic engineering director at UPS-Cuenca, Rene Avila said it was a very productive meeting that will allow the network to work well.
