Robot that will analyze and inspect sewers was built by students in our branch campus in Cuenca

Thanks to an agreement between our university and the municipality of Cañar, the university presented a robot that will analyze and inspect sewers. This innovative device will allow a detailed evaluation of the state of underground infrastructure, facilitating the identification of problems such as obstructions or possible structural damage. The device was created by students from our university.
The use of this robot will optimize maintenance and repair processes, it will contribute to improving the efficiency and safety of the municipality's sewage system. Our university shows its commitment to technological development and the well-being of the community, demonstrating once again the importance of inter-institutional collaboration for progress and innovation.
The Industrial Technologies Development and Research Group (GIDTEC for its acronym in Spanish) will provide technical support during 12 months in case the municipality of Cañar requires it.
