Seminar: “Impact of Orthognathic Surgery on health: Management of skeletal classes II and III”
The dentistry undergraduate program in our branch campus in Guayaquil invites the university community to take part in the seminar: “Impact of Orthognathic Surgery on health: Management of skeletal classes II and III”.
Dr. Mishel Ortando Santana, expert in Maxillofacial Surgery, will lead the seminar. Participants will learn more about the surgical procedures that correct deformities of the maxillary bones and that can affect the bite, chewing, speech and facial aesthetics.

They will also present the latest techniques and advances in the field of surgery, including the use of innovative technologies such as computer-aided surgical planning and 3D printing for the creation of precise anatomical models.
Participants will also have the opportunity to discuss complex clinical cases and share experiences, encouraging knowledge exchange and continuous improvement in professional practice.
