The university's branch in Guayaquil held a talk titled "Automation SIEMENS" in order to update students' knowledge in technology and show them how they can be applied at work.
"The talk allowed electrical engineering alumni to update their knowledge so it can be applied in their industry" said Marcos Millan, director of the electrical engineering group.

The talk was led by Juan Pablo Palacios, Product Manager Automation Systems Siemens. This event strengthens people's knowledge and skills and gives them bases needed for work, said Gary Ampuño, director of the electrical engineering faculty.
