The sports pedagogy undergraduate program, the psychology undergraduate program, the master’s degree in sports pedagogy and the Oratorio Don Bosco from our branch campus in Cuenca, inaugurated different sports programs (running, taekwondo, table tennis, basketball and soccer) for children aged 6 and 7.

 
Classes will be three days a week, where children will carry out several well planned activities that will help them change a sedentary lifestyle and prevent or reduce the risk of having health problems. 

UPS president Juan Cardenas welcomed everyone to the event and stressed the importance of the work that will be carried out by university students who will be in charge of educating children integrally through sports and help them become good Christians and honest citizens. 

Franklin Ramon, director of the sports pedagogy undergraduate program and the coordinator of this project, stated that the aim of the project is to reduce inequalities when it comes to having access to sports programs.
