Our branch campus in Guayaquil started a new academic period – semester -. Before the start of this new semester, professors attended several training sessions on the use of accessible learning tools. Professor Edwin Márquez stressed the importance of the training courses, “it benefits professors and allows us to learn essential things to teach our students better.”

More than 400 new students took part in Induction Week, where they learned more about the state-of-the-art facilities and laboratories in our campuses.

Viviana Chávez, a student majoring in Computer Science, said "I am excited to have options such as salesian groups and coworking. I am sure that these options will allow me to grow during my university life."

César Barrer, an Industrial Engineering student, was happy with the university's renovated facilities: "The laboratories are incredible, they have all the necessary tools for us to learn."

Finally, Fr. Juan Cárdenas, UPS president, encouraged future Salesian professionals to embrace their vocation of service and contribute to the development of society through their professional skills. "Start your adventure by feeling passionate about being a university student, fall in love with knowledge and prepare for a life of service," he said.
