The university's branch in Cuenca, the student services department, the Students Federation (FEUPS), and with the support of the Ecuadorian Society of Sexology and Sexual Education, organized a talk on educational training talks that focused on two issues of great interest to university students. The first issue was "Sexually transmitted diseases and family planning" and the second was "Components of sexuality: Eroticism and Reproduction". The aim of the activity was to contribute to the overall development of UPS students.

The talk was given by clinical psychologist Jorge Luis Escobar, Secretary of the Ecuadorian Society of Sexology. The subject was addressed with a different approach than the biological one and conjugated four perspectives on the theme: psychological, biological, social and spiritual. This new approach denoted a strategic message for young people, who are invited to control sexuality with responsibility, awareness and self-esteem.

At the end students were pleased with the two talks, with the information and topics discussed. The student services department is committed to having this type of events that will benefit students.
