Students from different undergraduate programs visited the "Nigeria" neighborhood to carry out volunteer work and give residents in this neighborhood some technical tools so they can carry out entrepreneurial projects in different areas.

The activities were held from the 12th to the 16th of April; there were basic workshops on electricity and talks on entrepreneurship. "It is important to recognize the activities carried out by our students who day after day do their best to help those in need", said Juan Jose Rocha, coordinator of the salesian groups in Guayaquil.

Additionally, there was celebration of mass from the resurrection during Holy Week which was attended by the Archbishop Luis Cabrera, Ivan Minda, Fr. Marcos Paredes and Priests from the parishes in the sector. "During these days young people participated together with the community of the various activities that help them grow spiritually through volunteering," added Rocha.
