The Robotics Club from our branch campus in Guayaquil were part of the jury in the 2023 Trace End Game Robotics Competition, organized by the Robotics Association, that took place at “Colegio Americano de Guayaquil”.

The competition was attended by 316 participants from over 20 high schools in the city of Guayaquil; there were several categories on robotics and assembly techniques.

Byron Lima, professor of electronics engineering, explained why it is important that students take part as jury in competitions. “The experience is very enriching for students because they can compare the methodology and technology being used and improve things in their field”.

Alex Holguin, student majoring in electronics and automation, said “these competitions promote students’ intellectual level. I really enjoyed being part of the jury and sharing my knowledge with high school students”.
