Talks on psychology

EVENTO Presencial TIPO Académico Cuenca miércoles, 9 diciembre 2020

The psychology undergraduate program in our branch campus in Cuenca invites the university community and the general public to take part in the talks on new trends in psychology.

The aim is to provide participants with up to date information on educational, child, neuro and forensic psychology. There will be talks on three different days with national and international speakers. 

First day, December 9th

Topics on child psychology and pedagogy. Speakers:

- Marisol Sagredo (Chile). With the topic: "Development of soft skills in children facing diagnoses and treatments of different pathologies".

- Lorenia Huerta (Mexico) with the topic: “Intervention techniques in children and the importance of working with the family and the multidisciplinary team

Second day, December 10th

Pablo Andrés Matute Cordero (Ecuador) with the topic: "Basic cognitive functions: memory, emotions, attention, perception, language and brain plasticity and learning".

Sofía López Vallejo (Ecuador - PhD student at the University of Granada in Granada, Spain) with the topic: “Neuropsychology applied to Education”

Third day, December 11th 

Pedro Muñoz Arteaga (Ecuador) with the topic: “Adapted and criminal psychopathy: Family and social repercussions”.

Xavier Pérez Cuit (Spain), with the topic “Cognitive and Volitive Impairment in drug trafficking offenses. Possible defenses and mitigating factors. Case presentation”.

Santiago Amaya Nassar (Colombia) with the topic “Exploration of epistemological beliefs in the forensic psychological field”.

Juliana Sánchez Salcedo (Colombia), with the topic "United Nations action protocol for psychologists in cases of Femicide".
