Students of the master's degree program in cultural management in our branch campus in Cuenca presented the university's traditional "Cultural Friday" program via online for the first time through zoom and the university's official social networks.

The aim of the event was to provide people a message of hope through art and culture. The presentation included music, actors, photographers, painters, dancers and bands. The show lasted over one hour and about 200 people joined the program.

Former UPS president, Javier Herran welcomed everyone to the event and stated that the cultural Friday program was stopped due to pandemic, but thanks to students of the cultural management master's degree program, it was possible to carry it out virtually so people can enjoy the program from home.

Blas Garzon, director of the cultural management master's degree program, explained that it was the students' idea to hold the program online. Throughout the program's 10 years, it is the first time it is done virtually.

Diego Peñaloza, head of postgraduate programs, stated that students of the master's degree program were able to use the tools they had learned and adapt to the changes caused by the pandemic. The idea is to continue holding the cultural Friday program
