The Robotics Club from our branch campus in Cuenca took part in the National Robotics Tournament “Robot & Science Challenger” which is organized by Universidad San Fransisco de Quito (USFQ) and won several prized in different categories. 

There were about 350 robots from different institutions and it was an opportunity for UPS students majoring in: Biomedicine, Electricity, Mechatronics, Electronics and Automation to demonstrate their skills as well as learn from other participants in the field of robotics.

 
For the university, the joint work and commitment of students is always a significant achievement. Our university was awarded the Best Delegation of the Tournament. It is important to note that the winners were accredited to participate in robotics competitions in China, Mexico, Brazil and Ecuador.
