The Salesian Choir Group from our branch campus in Guayaquil took part in a religious music folk festival titled “Plegarias de mi tierra” which took place in the Teatro Casa de la Cultura de la ciudad de Cuenca. 

Over 150 artists from different music groups presented parts of “Misa Criolla” from Ariel Ramirez, Argentinean musician and composer; “Misa Andina” from Chilean composer Mauricio Vicencio; and “Misa Morlaca” wrriten by Diego Zamora and students from DIZA arts academy. 

The festival promotes and disseminates culture and music in Ecuador.
