From the 16th to the 25th of September UPS-Guayaquil English teachers attended training sessions to update their knowledge and enhance teaching skills. Allen Ascher, author of Top Notch, visited UPS-Guayaquil and talked to teachers about the new edition of his book.

Teachers also took the Trinity College London Test which awards teachers an international certification. Christian Torres, Director of the UPS-Guayaquil Language Institute, said "I am pleased because everything has gone according to planned". 

Sergio Suarez spoke about the importance of teaching academic writing and finally teachers revised the Progress Test By One examination which will be taken by students. "We have revised that the examination is working well as well as the contents" said Torres.
