UPS and Colegio Nacional Benigno Malo sign a cooperation agreement

Our university's campus in Cuenca and Benigno Malo high school signed a cooperation agreement which will allow our students to carry out internships and pre professional practices. The agreement was signed by Fernando Moscoso, vice president of our branch campus in Cuenca, and Vinicio Andrade, principal of Colegio Nacional Benigno Malo. 

The agreement will also encourage different academic activities between both institutions that will benefit students and professors. After welcoming representatives from Benigno Malo high school, Fernando Moscoso stated that the aim of the agreement is to extend community engagement projects that are aimed specially at underserved sectors. 

Vinicio Andrade thanked the university and said the agreement will benefit students from both institutions. He spoke about how this high school is committed to getting more involved with society and the best way of doing so is by signing this agreement with UPS.

Before ending the meeting, Cristian Diaz, director of the risk management undergraduate program, explained the entire content of the agreement.
