UPS and Fundación Proyecto Salesiano Chicos de la Calle signed a cooperation agreement that will assure the university's support for the following: "Mi Caleta" program,  Unidad Educativa Fiscomisional (UESPA), Escuela Deportuva GOLASO, workshops at San Patricio school (TESPA). The agreement was signed on January 29 during the Open House organized by Fundación Proyecto Salesiano Chicos de la Calle

During this event, Father Robert Garcia awarded UPS-Quito Vice President Jose Enrique Juncosa a recognition plaque and diploma. In his speech, the UPS-Quito Vice President highlighted the importance of these agreements between UPS and salesian projects since they reflect Don Bosco's thoughts on focusing on academic activities and community involvement in order to benefit the poor.

Fundación Proyecto Salesiano Chicos de la Calle is non profitable foundation that provides integral education for boys, girls, adolescents and young workers and their families in vulnerable situations since 1977.

In January salesians around the world celebrated our founder San Juan Bosco, and as part of these celebrations the Foundation organized an art festival with teachers, students and their families.
