Universidad Politécnica Salesiana-Cuenca and the José Carrasco Arteaga Social Security Hospital signed an inter-institutional cooperation agreement allowing them to plan, elaborate, develop and implement training projects that will improve students' academic, research, science and technological performance.

UPS-Cuenca Vice President Cesar Vasquez and the Social Security Hospital Manager Fernando Oyervide signed the agreement. Cesar Vasquez thanked the Social Security Hospital authorities for considering the University and said he is committed to making this agreement beneficial for both students and the hospital.

Fernando Oyervide, hospital manager, said it is important to sign this agreement with an institution that has earned prestige in the city and the province, and that the agreement will improve the services that they provide.
