"Doble Via" is a project that started 5 years ago thanks to international cooperation between Salesian institutions in Belgium and Ecuador; it focuses on an exchange of experiences: academic, cultural and language.

UPS students who are involved in the program are majoring in Psychology, Economics, local development, environmental engineering, electrical engineering, electronics and automation, automotive engineering, biotechnology and computing. The objective of the two universities is to contribute to the analysis and proposals of the SDGs in the context of the health emergency - COVID 19, through the exchange of projects between students, UPS and UCLL (University College Leuven - Leumberg ).

Father Juan Cárdenas, President of Universidad Politecnica Salesiana, invited the participants to "continue dreaming that a better world is possible," and he also congratulated the participants in this project, since they are supporting vulnerable groups.
