From the 16 to the 20 of May, the university's branch in Quito celebrated the feast of Mary by presenting a play titled "Between good and evil". The play was prepared by the ASU Dance Group and the academic forum "Comunicación y Misericordia", and was organized by the Social Communication major. The events were organized with the support of the university's Vice President as well as academic and administrative bodies. Students, faculty and overall staff attended the celebration.

The Feast of Mary is celebrated every May 24 to honor John Bosco's recognition of Mary as Savior of Christians. This year's organization was in charge of the human resources department and the business administration major. The university's pastoral department also organized mass in El Giron, Sur and Kennedy campus.

The speakers of the forum were José Mármol de Signis and professors Nicolás Deusdebés and Carmita Coronado. They spoke about the importance of being surrounded by other people, family, social groups, community and the virtual environment.
