UPS Channel TV launched its 6th season with new programs

On July 21st, the university's branch campus in Guayaquil launched the 6th season of UPS CHANNEL TV, "the students' cannel". This event was attended by renowned people from Ecuadorian television, journalists, producers and singers.

Several programs were presented that night and were then evaluated to choose the best production that night. The programs were:

• Noticiero UPS Informa

• UPS Sport

• Locura UPS

• Llaktacuna Camarapi

• Los Convocados

The members of the jury were: Luis Álvarez, general editor of UPS, Pablo Miño, professor at ESPOL, and Peggy Artieda on behalf of the mayor of Guayaquil.

The best programs were:

1st place	Llaktacuna Camarapi (cultural)
2nd place	Noticiero UPS informa (informative)
3rd place	Los Convocados (sports)

There were also other awards for the best producer, which went to Alex Gonzalez and the best presenter for Carlos Castillo Yepez.

"This event represents the commitment that students who make up UPS Channel TV have in order to present all the academic, cultural, sports and research events that take place in the university", said Cesar Andrade, general editor of UPS Channel TV.
