Katherine Cristina Bustamante and Luis Ángel Zhunio, UPS-Cuenca electrical engineering students, attended the XI IEEE Student Branches National Meeting (RNR Loja 2015) which was organized by Universidad Internacional del Ecuador- Loja.

The RNR is an annual meeting for IEEE student branches where students, professors and professionals who are members or IEEE meet to take part in several academic and social activities, such as keynote speeches, projects, presentations from participating universities and others. This allows students to gain experience  during their university studies as well as create academic ties.

The most important aim is to strengthen student organizations in the field of engineering as well as entrepreneurship and other IEEE topics. Students are also able to do some networking with professionals and students, which allows them to broaden their views with thousands of new ideas. 

During this event our students presented the activities carried out by IEEE at UPS.
