During his speech, Father Javier Herran said "Besides having a building with great infrastructure and recreation spaces, it is important to have a place to encourage and foster reading"
The UPS-Guayaquil library is one of the biggest in the country, it has at least 30,000 national and international books available for almost 8,000 salesian students as well as the general public who must present their ID in order to use the books.
