The university presented its new website; a new dynamic and informative site that will easily connect users to all university services.

The presentation started with a speech from Fransisco Sanchez, inspector of Salesians in Ecuador and UPS Chancellor, who congratulated the university’s web management. “It is a very important event due to all the current technological changes and the way we communicate nowadays. The new website will provide users excellent service”, he said.

David Armendariz, web editor, stated that the new website makes it easier for users to search for information and that the aim was not only to present a nice and modern website, but one that could simplify information and the resources so they could be accessible from any device”. 

Pedro Rodriguez, Head of Web Management, presented and explained the new features of the website. He explained it will allow people to access all of the website’s services in a personalized manner which will enable interaction. “Starting today we are part of a new digital experience at UPS, with a modern infrastructure with all necessary resources and tools to ensure web positioning on the internet”. 

Juan Cardenas, UPS president, thanked everyone’s hard work on the creation of the new website. “It is a pleasure to present the university community and society our new website with a new and versatile image which people can access through any device and keep in touch with university services, news and events”.
