UPS professor awarded the Accésit prize by the Spanish Committee of Automation

Julio Cesar Zambrano, UPS professor from our branch campus in Cuenca, was awarded the “Accésit” prize to the best doctoral thesis in the field of Intelligent Control. The recognition was awarded by the Cómite Español de Automática (Spanish Committee of Automation) and IDOM. This prize is awarded every two years.
Professor Zambrano’s doctoral thesis is titled “Identification of nonlinear processes based on Wiener-Hammerstein models and heuristic optimization”, which was presented complete his doctoral program in Automation, Robotics and Industrial Computing at Universitat Politécnica de Valencia.
Scientific production from our professors and students are worth highlighting and acknowledging; it is an important contribution to the university’s scientific community and the country.
