UPS signed 5 agreements for professional training, research and technical guidance

The university signed five inter institutional agreements with Consorcio de Municipios Amazónicos y Galápagos (COMAGA), Fundación Servicios para el Desarrollo Alternativo (SEDAL), Servicio Ecuatoriano de Capacitación Profesional (SECAP) and Casa de Don Bosco and Fundación Tierra Nueva.

The agreements signed with COMAGA, la Fundación Tierra Nueva and SECAP have a national scope and will strengthen professional education through training sessions, research, technical advisory and community involvement. The agreements with Fundación Sedal and Casa Don Bosco will enable students to carry out social service activities. 

Jose Juncosa welcomed the attendees highlighted the openness of the people in charge of these institutions in order to establish inter institutional agreements that will favor students' education. "The university is made up by three elements: teaching, research and community involvement, and together they create knowledge, exchange of experience and promote work", he said.

Lola Vasquez, director of the community involvement department, thanked the representatives of the institutions for trusting UPS and said "the agreements strengthen relations; the work between institutions benefits the people we serve; if we work together we optimize resources and give a better service."
