The UPS-Cuenca IEEE student branch was pleased to celebrate IEEE day in the university. Celebrations are held worldwide and are encouraged by the electrical and electronic engineers institute (IEEE).

During the celebration, members of the IEEE Cuenca branch presented the activities they have planned for this semester. Additionally, they announced that new members will be joining the group.

They actually said that one of their aims is to encourage more students in Cuenca to join one of the several groups within IEEE: the power and energy society, robotics society, engineering in medicine society or the women in engineering group.
