The early education undergraduate program in our branch campus in Guayaquil held the webinar: "Pedagogy of happiness" led by Teresa Diaz Dominguez professor and researcher at Centro de Estudios de Ciencias de la Educación Superior at Universidad de Pinar del Rio in Cuba.

This meeting provided the main approaches to the pedagogy of happiness and its application in the modern educational context. "It is important to understand that you should not be educated in deprivation but on the occasion," stated Teresa Díaz.

Susana Pombo, director of the Early Education program, invited people to use the pedagogy of happiness as a learning strategy, which not only improves teaching styles, but also instructs students on how to be happy.

The meeting lasted two hours and was attended by approximately 60 people. The discussion ended with the intervention of the attendees who asked questions, gave opinions, and commented on their professional experiences.
