Discover the Amazon in Quito. A display of culture and biodiversity

From March 10th to April 10th four museums in Quito will display the natural and cultural richness of the Ecuadorian Amazon. The display will include customs, traditions and activities from the amazon. 
Here are the four museums that will have this exhibit:

MUSEO ETNOGRÁFICO ABYA YALA: Come and learn about the culture, way of life and mythology of the Amazon. View the shrunken heads (tzanzas). 
Attention hours: Monday to Friday from 9:30am – 1pm and 2pm to 5:30pm

MUSEO ETNOHISTÓRICO DE ARTESANÍAS DEL ECUADOR - MINDALAE:  There will be a room dedicated to showing objects of daily use, clothing, and handicrafts (mocahuas). 
Attention hours: Monday to Saturday from 9:30am to 5:30pm

MUSEO ECUATORIANO DE CIENCIAS NATURALES:  Come and discover the Ecuadorian Amazon Jungle, one of the biggest Green “lungs” in the world. 
Attention hours: Monday to Friday from 8am to 1pm and 1:45pm to 4:45pm 
Address: Av. De Los Shyris y Pasaje Rumipamba (Parque La Carolina)

JARDÍN BOTÁNICO DE QUITO: Come and learn about the flora in the amazon: orchids, guayusa, cacao, paja toquilla, plantain and coffee. Visit a typical shuar house.
Attention hours: Monday to Friday from 8am to 4:30pm. Saturdays and Sundays from 9am to 4:30pm.
