The university's repository (dspace.ups.edu.ec) is a digital platform that collects, organizes, preserves and freely disseminates documents from the entire university community. 

The new version of the repository contains not only students' thesis, but also scientific articles, journals, publications and learning resources. Access to these documents is open and free, therefore it is easy to disseminate them and use it as material in order to support activities such as research projects, teaching, conferences, thesis, papers, etc.

The new documents will enrich the new repository, they will complement the academic and scientific work of researchers, professors and students.

The dspace.ups.edu.ec is the first university repository in Ecuador included in Europe's Open Access Infrastructure for Research in Europe, which promotes open access to knowledge in different fields. It also provides access to quality services from the Ecuadorian open access repository network (RRAAE for its acronym in Spanish), Creative Commons, Open Aire and MIT Open Course Ware.
