Students majoring in electrical engineering in our branch campus in Guayaquil visited the electrical substation located in Daule to learn more about processes of voltage transformation, frequency, phases, circuit connections. 

Cesar Caceres, professor, spoke about the importance of these visits, “students can see how the equipment is used in the professional field”, he said. The aim is to complement teaching – learning processes that take place in classrooms and laboratories. 

Jose Rojas, student, said “it was a great learning experience and we were able to clarify doubts about real life situations.”

Geovanny Carchi, alumni and now in charge of the substation, said “visits to factories, hydroelectric plants, and substations allow students to appreciate what they really need to lean and prepare for their future.”
