From September 28^th to October 2^nd professors at UPS-Guayaquil attended training sessions which were held in the university's laboratories, auditoriums and classrooms.

The aim of the training sessions are to upgrade professors' knowledge and improve academia and pedagogy of 260 professors. The 40 hour courses were organized by the Academic Department before the start of semester 47.

The topics are chosen according to the needs spotted by faculty directors. "According to the results we can detect professors' needs and then plan the right courses" said Johnny Jimenez, academic coordinator at UPS-Guayaquil.

There were also courses on educational processes, evaluation and academic writing.
