Last Monday nearly 6000 students began the September 2015 – February 2016 semester at UPS-Cuenca. They study one of the 16 majors available at the university. 

Students who are new to the university were very excited to begin this new adventure in their lives as students. Several students said that this is the most important part of their lives because their future depends on their university studies. Lots of students walked around the university campus to become familiar with its premises since they will be spending mcuh of their time here.  

On the first day, professors talked about some of the new rules that students must comply as new members of this salesian university.
University officials were pleased with all the students who attended class, especially new students, who have trusted our university for their studies. They hope they all finish their studies successfully and become professionals
