A fire drill was held in buildings "D" and "C" in UPS-Guayaquil's Centenario Campus. The drill was organized by experts from the risk management center (GESINRI) and officials from the safety, health and environmental unit (GTH-UNISSMA).

The aim of the drill was to improve the reaction of students, professors and overall staff in the university. GESINRI trains brigades at UPS on how to respond to possible fires, earthquakes or other natural disasters.
