Students from the journalism major at UPS-Guayaquil presented a newly created Salesian Group called ASU VOCES, whose aim is to provide students an opportunity to develop their skills within a salesian environment and carry out academic and extracurricular activities according to their likes. "Through these groups we learn more about students opinions" said Professor Susan Escobar.

The group will be led by UPS student Coraima Torres and Professor Bismarck Arana. This group will hold forums, debates, essays on audiovisual products, and more, which will foster the development of critical thinking in students. "Not everyone can express oneself in the same way and that's why VOCES exists" said Coraima Torres.

On another note, the coordinator of the COMIC CLUB will be Alex Altamirano and professor Alfredo Ayora. In this group they will discuss and analyze not only superhero comics, but comics on politics, sports, war, and culture.

And finally, they also presented the Reading and Writing Club which will be coordinated by Jose Vasquez and poet Augusto Rodriguez.
