On March 6, members of the university's salesian groups  met at UPS-Guayaquil. There were about 300 people in this meeting. 

This meeting has been held at every campus, before holding the IV national meeting for all salesian group members from Quito, Guayaquil and Cuenca, which this year will take place in Guayaquil from the 22 to the 24 of April. 

Juan Jose Rocha, director of the salesian groups in Guayaquil encouraged students to feel committed to the groups and he also explained the aims of having these groups.

John Avila, director of the pastoral group, led the topic "Leading, guiding and teamwork" whose aim was to strengthen cohesion among the groups.
