Due to the earthquake which hit Ecuador last April 16, UPS- Guayaquil has asked everyone to participate in the " Solidarity Campaign to Collect Groceries ". The goal is to help the victims who are under risk situations.

Juan Jose Rocha , assistant professor of the Pastoral department, these situations make us contribute to help ease the pain of those who suffered the consequences of this national tragedy.  "Salesians are known for having that helping spirit for people who need it most and this is no exception ," he said .

Students and staff may contribute with whatever they can considering the following list:

1. Nonperishable food (tuna, sardines, beans , sugar, rice , etc.) 

2. KITS (gauzes, alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, bandages, adhesive tape, etc.) 

3. USED CLOTHING  

4. Personal care products ( disposable diapers , towels , soaps , etc.) 

5. TENTS . 

Donations will be collected in the Pastoral Department , located in Block D , from 9h00 to 19h00 .
