Workshop on how to write scientific articles was held at UPS

The VIII Latin-American Congress on engineering that will be held on November 25^th, 26^th, and 27^th in Cuenca, the Automotive Mechanical Engineering major at Universidad Politécnica Salesiana and the Organizing committee of this academic event, held the first workshop on how to write research articles.

This workshop was conducted by Dr. Julio Viola, who is currently doing research at UPS through the Prometeo program. Students, teachers, and researchers, 250 people in all, from Universidad de Cuenca, Universidad del Azuay, and Universidad Politécnica Salesiana attended this workshop.

The aim of this academic event was to advise participants how to write scientific articles that will be presented in the VIII Latin-American Congress on engineering; the articles will first be evaluated by a special committee before being published.

Julio Viola said the workshop was meant to help participants learn how they should write scientific and research articles, which have a particular design.

The organizers of the event were satisfied with the workshop and with the number of participants who attended, they said that this type of event boosts scientific culture and encourages more people in the university community to write articles for the VIII Latin-American Congress on mechanical engineering.
