The university's communication major in Cuenca and the Municipality's "Bienal de Cuenca" Foundation will coproduce ten micro documentaries about all the activities and exhibitions during the International Cuenca Bienal which will take place from October to December. The coproduction will be possible thanks to an agreement signed between both institutions.

The documentaries are currently in the pre-production phase, where 14 senior year students, 3 professors and workers of the "Bienal de Cuenca" Foundation are participating.

Some of the topics of the micro documentaries are: education and presence of mediators, public views about the works, interviews with curators, assembling works, exhibition spaces, parallel exhibitions and interviews with artists.

Along with the production of micro-documentaries, the University and the Foundation will install a mobile radio booth that will move around the different exhibition spaces in order to interact directly with the public through radio magazines.

At the beginning of this audiovisual project, the university's vice president in Cuenca, Cesar Vasquez,  expressed all his support for this activity which will result in creative products that will benefit culture and society in general .
